The eight-storey Holiday Inn Express & Suites project is located on 2,535m² site in Maroochydore, and is part of the Sunshine Coast’s Central Business District. The project was delivered under a design and construct contract, after undergoing an early contractor involvement (ECI) period. The hotel offers all the essentials – a roof-top swimming pool, bar and dining venue, fitness centre, conference and function facilities, parking and ground-level retail space. With thoughtfully-designed common areas – The Great Room – offers a relaxing space to get to work or catch up with friends over a drink. The 181 guest rooms are equipped with a walk-in power shower, black-out blinds, and efficient workstation. The hotel has been designed to target a high NABERS Energy and Water rating by incorporating energy-efficient equipment and systems to be used throughout the hotel. These assist in improving the hotel’s energy efficiency of common areas, guest rooms, back of house facilities and on-site amenities.
